- Bandwidth
Bandwidth is the measurement of how much data is able to be transferred over a period of time.
On hosting plans this is referred to as "transfer". For instance, one gigabyte (1024 ^3 bytes) would be equal to transferring a one megabyte file (1024 ^2 bytes) 1024 times. Most websites use a maximum of 500MB of traffic per month, but there are many exceptions.

If you can read this, it's highly likely that you're using a Web browser. In brief, a browser is the program you use interface to the World Wide Web; it interprets hypertext links and lets you view sites and navigate from one Internet node to another.
There are many browsers available with the most common ones being Internet Explorer or Firefox.
